Very basic Joomla help needed please.
I have a web address connected to Windows hosting
(the address is www.estrelaenergia.com)
I'm trying to install Joomla to that address prior to writing a simple site.
I've gone into the back end of the domain hosting and created a database and an ftp account.
used filezilla to connect, this gave me 3 folders on the webserver (db, logs, wwwroot)
I then unzipped Joomla 2.5.8 onto my local PC and copied the entire unzipped folder into the wwwroot folder on the webserver.
I then typed www.estrelaenergia.com into my address bar but I get nothing, just a 404 error.
What am I getting wrong please?

What web server you are running? Apache or IIS? Check virtual host settings
ASKER
I'm not sure to be honest.
I contacted the people that the domain is hosted with and told them what I wanted to do, they just said to install a MYSQL5 database within the hosting package in HELM so that's what I did.
Another section within helm says PHP version 5 if that helps?
Otherwise, how do I find out whether I'm running Apache or IIS?
