we switched to exchange2010 from exchange2003 a year ago.
In exchange2003 we used mailboxes or room-mailboxes (by logging in as room-user, setting automatic answer on calendar events, etc.).
After migration to exchange2010 we converted those room-mailbox to real resource-mailboxes but the "Automatic booking feature" is not enabled so the room-booking is still working as before (Popup in outlook when booked a resource) without the new features.
What we would like to do now is to use the old, converted rooms with the new features (resource olicy and so on). How can we configure that?
Do I first have to undo the steps formerly done to make the user-mailbox a room-mailbox (automatic answer and so on) and then activate the booling-automation?
Will all events say in th rooms and will remain woking?
Could anybody give a step by step guide?
