Wireless keyboard/mouse for Conference Room - long range

Hi,
I'm after a wireless keyboard and mouse set for use in meeting rooms, where it will be up to 5m (20 foot) from the tranceiver to the keyboard/mouse.

I've tried various Microsoft 3000 or 5000 series ones, and they seem to lose signal at about 10 foot...

Simple designs appreciated too!  Don't want to confuse the users...!

I have used this model for a while in our conference room at around 25 feet. It works pretty good.

one tip though is to get a short USB extension cord and run it away from the PC and up the wall and plug the Receiver into this. it gives you better reception.

The Second tip is to make sure you put and maintain good batteries in it. Duracell or equivalent. This is the biggest killer of radio frequency range, low batteries. Even new Cheap batteries put out less than discharged quality batteries.

Any with a separate (rechargeable) mouse?

Bluetooth ones will give better range than "wireless"

We talked about a seperate mouse some do not like the on board mouse

But we decided that a seperate mouse would disappear and in a board room when they want to use the computer screen we did not wnat them to be looking around for a mouse. The Keyboard sits on the table in its cradle on charge.

Thats what worked for us.

Note If someone does not like the mouse on the keyboard you can always just use a wireless mouse to. We tested that works just fine.

The one I listed above in my prior comment is Bluetooth.

The board Room is 30 feet long no problem with KB from any spot in the room
