I am trying to use PowerBroker Identity Services, Open Edition to connect a linux mint 14.4 box into our windows domain.  I have downloaded the latest release of pbis ( 7.0.4.918 ) but when I try to install with sh I get an a couple of  error messages e.g. "Missing package file for pbis-open-upgrade".

How can I fix this error ?

Is there another /  a better way to add linux into a windows domain?

Thanks

I've managed to install likewise-open (previous version of Powerbroker).  However when I try to join the domain I am getting the error shown below.  Am I missing a step / do I need to do something different?

I can ping pcs and both of our Domain Controllers (Windows 2008 R2) on the domain by hostname and IP from a terminal window.

Thanks

Thanks for all your help.  Project has been abandoned.  Question will be closed if that is ok with everyone.
