Can anyone tell me if it is possible / sensible to configure mirroring on an SQL Server 2008 R2 database while the users are using the database?<br />

I have a number of databases that need to have mirroring turned on and have just been asked if I can do it during the day when the databases are in use. <br />
<br />
I have looked and searched, but cannot find the answer so wondered if anyone here had any experience on this?<br />
