WE have a 3rd party system that generates 100 PDF files which contain marketing information.  We are also running MS CRM4.  Is there a way to create a link or entity in CRM that points to the file share where these files reside.  The files will be updated a on weekly basis.  If I cannot do that, is there a way to have CRM import the files automatically?

Do you use SharePoint?  SharePoint is a great tool for storing documents. If so, you can make SharePoint libraries visible within CRM. It is a little tricky to set up for CRM 4 but much easier in CRM 2011.

I would be wary of importing large numbers of files into CRM.

Then consider storing the documents in SharePoint. In CRM customization, you can configure IFRAMES in the entity forms to show information from external URLs such as SharePoint.
