HP ProLiant ML350e Gen8 Server is unable to install Windows Server.

I am starting to install a new server but unable to install Windows SERVER. I don't know what is the hardware or software problem.

Hardware: HP ProLiant ML350e Gen8
Software : Windows SBS server 2011 standard HP-brand

This is the details of the case:
- Delivered server to the client. Power on, blue screen with g200em.sys

(Install 1)- Tried to reinstall Windows SBS server 2011 standard using HP-brand disc (came with the box), after install driver and software automatically, it won't start up Windows O/S. (Attached the dump screen photo)
- Call HP Support Centre, recommended to upgrade IP version.
- Download the software, burn to the disc and successfully to upgrade IP version to 1.30.xxx

(Install 2) Tried to reinstall Windows SBS server 2011 standard using HP-brand disc but still won't start up Windows O/S

(Install 3) - Tried to use Custom installation of Windows SBS server 2011 standard HP-brand disc
      - Power on , Press F10 boot to HP intelligent provisioning
      - Go to ACU array configuration utility, reset RAID 1 (Make sure no any data on the hard drive)
      - Configure and Install
      - Select Custom ( Option - Recommend , Custom and Manual )
      - Put Windows SBS server 2011 standard HP-brand disc
      - After install driver and software automatically, it won't start up Windows O/S again

(Install4) Tried to use Manually installation of Windows SBS server 2011 standard HP-brand disc
      - Power on , Press F10 boot to HP intelligent provisioning
      - Go to ACU array configuration utility, reset RAID 1 (Make sure no any data on the hard drive)
      - Configure and Install
      - Select Manual ( Option - Recommend , Custom and Manual )
      - Put Windows SBS server 2011 standard HP-brand disc
      - Cannot start up for Windows installation. Error message : Unable to find the media

(Install 5) - Tried to use Manually installation of Windows SBS server 2008 standard  (NO HP brand)
      - Power on , Press F10 boot to HP intelligent provisioning
      - Go to ACU array configuration utility, reset RAID 1 (Make sure no any data on the hard drive)
      - Configure and Install
      - Select Manual ( Option - Recommend , Custom and Manual )
      - Put Windows SBS server 2008 standard  (NO HP brand)
      - During the installation, ask network adapter drivers. (I found HP website and downloaded 14 different network drivers. No one is suitable to install successful)
      - Because it's unable to install network drivers, I can't continue to install Windows.

(Install 6) - Tried to use Custom installation of Windows SBS server 2011 standard  (NO HP brand)
      - Power on , Press F10 boot to HP intelligent provisioning
      - Go to ACU array configuration utility, reset RAID 1 (Make sure no any data on the hard drive)
      - Configure and Install
      - Select Custom ( Option - Recommend , Custom and Manual )
      - Put Windows SBS server 2011 standard  (NO HP brand)
      - After install driver and software automatically, it won't start up Windows O/S again

(Install 7)- Tried to use Manually installation of Windows SBS server 2011 standard  (NO HP brand)
      - Power on , Press F10 boot to HP intelligent provisioning
      - Go to ACU array configuration utility, reset RAID 1 (Make sure no any data on the hard drive)
      - Configure and Install
      - Select Manual ( Option - Recommend , Custom and Manual )
      - Put Windows SBS server 2011 standard  (NO HP brand)
      - During the installation, ask network adapter drivers. (I found HP website and No any network drivers for Windows SBS server 2011 standard )
      - Tried to download 14 different network drivers for Windows Server 2008 x64 but doesn't work.
      - Tried to download  10 different network drivers for Windows Server 2012 but no one is suitable to install successful)
      - Because it's unable to install network drivers, I canNOT continue to install Windows.

I tried 7 times different criteria installation but still unable to install Windows Server.
Whatever using Windows SBS server 2011 standard HP-brand disc (came with the box) , Microsoft Windows SBS server 2011 standard (Retail disc) and Microsoft Windows SBS server 2008 standard (Retail disc), select to Recommend , Custom and Manual for installation.
NOT sure this is the hardware problem on motherboard / RAMs or software problem.

Any idea ?

Thanks for that. I was using manual installation like your post. I got RAID controller driver but NOT network adapter drivers

What seemed to fix it for me was booting from a USB drive not the DVD drive and then installing the RAID Controller Drivers and once I had done that, the rest fell into place.

Did you no need to ask for network adapter driver during the installation ?

Alan HardistyCo-OwnerCommented:
Not that I remember.  Most drivers should be available in the Windows OS.

I tried to download all possible network adapter drivers from HP website. No one is successful to install so I am confusing what's happening. You know, during the Windows Server installation, if not install network adapter driver, we can't keep to continue installation Windows Server.

Test everything. This is old monitor problem to occur Blue screen. It is confusing with that but it's fixed anyway.

Only just seen this question, first thing you should have tried was upgrading Intelligent Provisioning, that's the equivalent of downloading the latest SmartStart instead of relying on the old one that came with the box.
