How to apply a patch to a module in drupal 7 from the mac terminal

Dear experts,

I´ve been trying to learn how to apply a patch to a module but I am not been pretty successful.
I am trying to apply this patch: http://drupal.org/files/wysiwyg-ckeditor4-1853550-4.patch to the wysiwyg module. The actual file that needs to get the patch is located at /sites/all/modules/wysiwyg/editors.inc. Could you please help me to do that from terminal on my mac computer? I am working locally.

I was trying to follow the following example, but I guess that is a pc and it is confusing:

localhost:~/www/drupal/sites/all/modules/wysiwyg$ patch -p1 < wysiwyg-ckeditor4-1853550-4.patch
patching file editors/ckeditor.inc
Hunk #1 succeeded at 68 (offset -10 lines).

Please help me.

thank you very much,

Winter
