Copying Text Messages from Droid Razor

I have an attorney who needs to pull text messages from a client's cell phone for legal discovery purposes. The phone is a Droid Razor. What is the best way to do this?

Anuneznyc,

I would recommend two methods, used in conjunction with each other:

1) Screen shots of all SMS (text) messages.
2) Use an SMS message back-up App or computer software to make a full archive of the texts.

The best option for an App is probably SMS Backup and Restore (for a normal user, I would suggest SMS Backup+, but this backs up the SMS messages to a gmail account, and that's probably not best for your case). For a program which runs on your computer, try MobileGo for Android.

Be sure to do the screenshots first, to preserve integrity of the information!

Cheers,
LHerrou

Thanks. That link for taking screenshots was very helpful. After installing both Java & Android SDK on client's PC, I was able to save screenshots of all the text messages in question.
