i have ebay store, and I always need to update the product description.
all of the product description is located at my own website, like mywebsite.com/shippinginformation.html

and I would like the product description included the content of shippinginformation.html so I don't have to update all of my 1000 products when the shippinginformation is changed.

How can I do that on ebay?

Thanks

eBay typically doesn't allow you to automatically include information from your website. One reason I've heard for this is that you could change information in the listing after the fact. You can read more about what you can't do at http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-javascript.html

That being said, there is a discussion over at http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2003099 which gives a few ideas. The iframe idea won't work since eBay doesn't allow it. Even the object idea seems to be outside the bounds of what eBay wishes, even if may technically work.

The one idea that should work and be fine with eBay is to put your shipping information into an image and include that in your listing. You could also create it in flash, though flash doesn't work on iPads/iPhones/iPods.
