Hello,

I already have a WordPress site and theme. I am looking at installing a premium WordPress squeeze page theme. I understand that for SEO purposes subdomains are treated as a new site. So I'm seeking clarity as to whether I should install this new theme on a new folder on the original domain name?

If so, what's the best way of doing this via cPanel Fantastico?

Cheers,
David

Why not purchase a premium plugin instead?  Is there an overwhelming reason to do it with different themes?

It's for a client, who wishes to do it this way.

It's a poor solution any way you approach it.  Either you install it in a subfolder using Network Mode or a totally separate install or as a subdomain using the same techniques.  The SEO ramifcations are mild but I would lean towards subfolder for ease.
