Is this possible to install the MS SQL 2008 enterprise edition on windows storage server 2008?. bcoz i couldn't find on software compatibly matrix in WSS2008 documents.

I found the answer to your question on a Microsoft Technet Forum.  The asker asked the same question, the reply is from a Microsoft Employee.

The answer sadly is no.
