In CS4, I open a Player 8 / as2 fla, which has comboboxes on the stage. In the Publish Settings, I change Player 8 to Player 9 and click OK. (At this point, all is well.) Then, in the Publish Settings, I change Actionscript 2.0 to Actionscript 3.0 and click OK. This makes all the comboboxes disappear from the stage. Please help!

The comboBox created with AS2 won't work with AS3. You will need to remove the AS2 component from the stage, drag a AS3 comboBox from the Components panel and program again any functionality you had before.

Thanks! I was hoping for a simpler solution, but now I can go forward knowing there isn't one.
