Hi Programmers/Developers,

i need your support and guidance. i am not having a background of programming never seen or done programming on any of the languages.

i want to understand bash,pearl,python  i dont want to be a professional programmer as this is not my field.my requirement from bash,pearl,python is very very specific.i want to understand these languages from a network point  of view.

like how to make as ping sweeps and port scanning, Understand buffer overflows,  metasploit framework  etc,

please suggest me books related to my requirements.
