Yeah I can get an image for both play and pause but looking for the script changes

You can use :
$("#YOUR_PLAY_BUTTON_ID").click(function() { $("#mycarousel").trigger("mouseout"); });
$("#YOUR_PAUSE_BUTTON_ID").click(function() { $("#mycarousel").trigger("mouseover"); });
