Hyper-V manager is not showing any VM
Hi experts,
I have installec fresh Hyper-V 2008 R2 server on HP ProLiant DL360 G6.
Server is fully updated by latest HP Firmware Update DVD, installed with latest SmartStart CD.
Everything is going well, but if I create new VM, it doesnt show up in management console.
Similar issue is here:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverhyperv/thread/135d1385-4b75-4737-80de-f8c517c25f8d/
But I havent got any AV software on the server and XML files seems to be uncorrupted - but Im not expert - it is in the first sight good.
I also doublechecked the link file in the c:\programdata\microsoft\w indows\hyp er-v\virtu al machines folder. It is present and it is pointing to the right location.
All windows updates are installed, in the application or system log of the hyper-v host, there are none events related to Hyper-V... All services are running.
What else can be wrong?

Can you be sure that all Hyper-V related services are running on the Hyper-V host?
As a last resort could you try formatting and installing Windows Server 2008 R2 and trying locally? This would narrow down whether you're having the problem locally or when connecting to the Hyper-V server via another machine.
