swf files are not read by google chrome but work fine with IE Explorer and Firefox

This is the code of the swf file:

"<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="720" height="540" id="FlashID" title="whatsee">
        <param name="movie" value="/Static Pages/baliwhatsee.swf" />
        <param name="quality" value="high" />
        <param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
        <param name="swfversion" value="" />
        <!-- This param tag prompts users with Flash Player 6.0 r65 and higher to download the latest version of Flash Player. Delete it if you don’t want users to see the prompt. -->
        <param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
        <!-- Next object tag is for non-IE browsers. So hide it from IE using IECC. -->
        <!--[if !IE]>-->"

Is that your embed code?  If that is all, maybe that is the problem.

Keep in mind it's time to start rethinking flash.  Close to 1/3 of your web trafic now is mobile and depending on your topic and audience, that could be more.  At least on the sites I manage, the majority of "mobile" traffic is IOS so no flash no matter what you do.
johanboerikarent--Perhaps of help.

Irfanview also opens .swf files.  Irfanview is also an excellent (and free) general graphics editor.
