MS Office 2007 Activation

I have replaced a motherboard and now Office 2007 needs to be reactivated. I attempted to activate online but it failed, saying the software has already been activated - which it was, but on the same machine. It suggests using the telephone method, but when I click on "activate over the telephone" nothing happens. Any ideas? I am familiar with both activation methods but it is not working for the phone method.

In my view, you should explain it to Microsoft support email and ask for reactivation of office 2007 with the previous product key. https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/emailcontact.aspx?scid=sw;en;1539

If your Office is an OEM version, and you changed the mainboard with a different model, then it isn't the same machine anymore, and you will have to buy a new license.

I was able to activate the product by simply uninstalling it and reinstalling it, at which point the telephone activation feature worked as normal. Sorry, but I have solved my own problem in this case and neither attempt at a solution really helped at all.

My answer solved the problem in a simple way that anyone can use and the other two answers I had received did not address the malfunction, but instead pointed me toward there being very little I could do.
