Lync and VOIP
Greetings,
my company recently upgraded from Office Communications Server to Lync Server.
Back in the day, we used to select a contact on the OSC client, and click call, and the VOIP phone would ring to start the the call. Lync is not doing that.
How would I configure Lync to allow someone that feature?
thanks.

I believe you are looking for phone control correct not trying to call someone in a lync to lync call using just lync right? What type of phone system do you have?

we have the cisco voip phone series.
When I clicked on "call" on a contact in OCS, my voip phone would ring for me to pick up, then it would ring on the far end.
Now, I have to manually punch in the numbers from Lync, or attempt to make the call via computer.
