VSS on one of our file servers keeps throwing the following error (see attached) several times a day.  Since we do our backups with CommVault, is it possible to turn VSS off.  Or what's the best course of action?  Thanks!

Thanks for the KBs.  These were somewhat informative.
I resolved the issue by disabling the service and then re-setting to Manual; rebooted server and the error in the Event Viewer went away.

I've requested that this question be deleted for the following reason:

Answer was too generic and I ended up resolving it myself by rebooting the server

Dont mind but if you take backup of any sort it wont work as backups depend on VSS again :(
