AutoCad Autodesk 2004

I have a client with AutCad Autodesk 2004 and wants to install on new Laptop that has
Win 7 64

Are there issues? If so, options, suggestion..work arounds?

2004 is not supported by Autodesk if its run on Windows 7 x64. Thats not to say it wont work - though.

If it doesnt install or run correctly, you might be able to get it to run in XP mode.

I was successfull installing AutoCad 2004 on Win7Pro 64bit by copying contents of CD to local folder on hard drive (desktop) and then I right-clicked the EXE file to access Compatibity tab under Properties and install in WinXP mode. Works!
