What is the best micro eCommerce framework suitable for a small business?

Well, to be frank, the "best" is almost universally something you farm out to an ISP/ecommerce supplier.  Because by the time you budget for the hardware, O/S, training, setup, support (which you will need) .. then it just isn't cost effective for a small business due to all of the other costs

Digital certificate(s);  maintaining tax tables; setup of bank/credit cards; emergency phone calls   because your site is down because of something you can't figure out ...

But if you insist on doing it your own, then better start with budget, and what you already have to start with.  (How many different SKUs do you have, do you sell items that have unique serial numbers; etc .. )

As you ask the question there are too many variables.
