PDF to Kindle format so FONT can be adjusted?

I have a PDF ebook which is essentially paragraphs of text.  When I email it to my kindle account, it imports onto my kindle paperwhite, but the text is TOO small and there's no AAaa font button to change it.

What are my options?

Thanks,
Mike

To confirm: have you already tried allowing Amazon to convert the file for you?

Note: You can also send your personal documents via e-mail as attachments to [name]@free.kindle.com. To have a document converted to Kindle format (.azw), the subject line should be "convert." Kindle Personal Documents Service will attempt to deliver your personal documents to the e-mail address associated with the Amazon account to which the device is registered. You can use the e-mail to download the file to your computer and transfer it to your Kindle device using a USB connection.

I attached the PDF to my kindle email address and it arrived.

I did NOT put the word convert in the subject.

I'll try that.

Thx

Thanks a bunch!

Adding CONVERT to the subject makes this totally readable, with adjustable fonts.
