Exchange 2010 Cross Forrest Migration
Right now I have 2 cashubs and 2 mailbox servers. Lets call the old domain olddomain.com . We have a new domain lets call that newdomain.com. newdomain.com has the same users and passwords as olddomain.com.
olddomain.com accepts mail for newdomain.com .
We would now like to move exchange 2010 from olddomain.com to newdomain.com . The only way I see this possible is by installing exchange 2010 in the same configuration we have now in newdomain.com . Then either doing pst moves or a new move request. The PST method doesnt appear that it would complete in a weekend. So Im left with doing a cross domain mailbox move.
From reading some articles I would first setup the exchange environment in newdomain.com.
Then I should create a send connector to find mailboxes not currently on olddomain.com to redirect to newdomain.com??
now would I just start to do the new mailbox moves?
anything else?
