Hi

I am currently running MS Exchange 2007. I have been experiencing an issue where the OAB (Offline Address Book) is not being downloaded on any of the client PC's. We are running Outlook 2007 & Outlook 2010 in our environment. Each time I try to manually download the OAB in Outlook 2010 I receive the following error: 0x8004010F: The operation failed. An object cannot be found.

I am able to download the OAB on my terminal server running a version of Outlook 2003.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

If this is Exchange 2007 ensure that

All required Exchange services are running on all server ?
Lzx files are getting generated on the Mailbox server everyday in "ExchangeOAB" folder and then copied to "OAB" folder on CAS using FDS service

Hi Rancy

I can confirm that the Lzx files are being generated and they are being copied over to the OAB folder.

Hi Rancy

Thank you for your response,

This is happening across the ball to all users.

When try to access the oab via the url https://(servername)/OAB/
It prompts me for credentials. After entering credentials i get the following error:

"Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed"

Thanks Rancy,

I have just exported my OAB settings, i have also removed the virtual directory by running this command. Remove-OABVirtualDirectory -Identity "OAB (Default Web Site)"

I just need a little help with the recreation of the OAB/Virtual Directory

Does this look correct to you?

New-OABVirtualDirectory -DomainController <server01.amc.local> -ExternalUrl <mail.domain.com.aul> -InternalUrl <server01.amc.local> -Path <C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\OAB> -PollInterval <Int32> -RequireSSL <$true | $false> -Server <ServerIdParameter> -WebSiteName <Default Web Site>

Hi guys

Thanks for your help. I managed to solve this issue by allowing browsing content in iis for oab. I had also noticed that even though ssl had been enabled the oab was pointing at the a http url. This has now all been resolved and oab is downloadin across all pcs.
