Hi Folks
I have just taken a call from a client in panic. They were working on a file in Illistrator CS6 and it went into not responding state and closed.
She reopenned the file to find last saved 4 hours ago.

Does Illistrator have an autosave feature?

If not, Does it leave the temp files I can attempt to open?. If so where, and how?

I can see some temp files in the %tmp% from about the same time, but non match the size of the file.

Any tips much appreciated
Best Tom

I wish I had better news for you.. Illustrator CS6 does not have a Auto-Save Function or file location.
