Hi everyone,

Is it possible to have SATA drives on HP Proliant DL180 G6 since it comes with controller type: Serial Attached SCSI (SAS). Do i need to change the bay?

SAS controllers are backward compatible with SATA, and you don't need another backplane.

But when you go for SATA drives make sure you get enterprise class disks.
