Hi, I've got a client who wants an Interactive Whiteboard. I'm struggling to find comparisons or reviews of products on the web so I have been able to find out about some of the different features but can't find out what people think of them.

I'm looking at the Smart 640, which seems to be the basic model of Interactive whiteboard. It has a resistive surface. I've noticed many of the more expensive models capture the stylus or finger movement using cameras or are electromagnetic - can anyone tell me how these different methods perform on that scale? (I've used tablets and phones with resistive surfaces so I know they work ok but just wondering how they work on such a big area).

If anyone can give me any other advise about choosing a whiteboard I would appreciate it.
Thanks

My wife has an 87" (yes, that's right) Promethean Smartboard for her home pre-school.

She spent weeks looking at various smartboards and decided on this one.

She found out they had the best support, price and service.

It came with a 3 year warranty and if we paid their installers to put it in they tacked on an additional 2 years to the warranty.

If you have a Lakeshore learning center, they might have one for you to look at.  This is where my wife first saw one and was instantly hooked.

They are not cheap, but they are impressive.
