Speed up ASP.net Website on Windows 2003 server

Hi,

I have a customer website on their server in the US. Its a shared hosting environment but frankly, the speed of the site is great but I have a Windows VPS server, with good resources, but when I put it on my webserver (e.g., copy file structure and MySQL database across), the speed is really poor.

How can I optimize an ASP.net website on my VPS for speed? What hosting variables can be changed?

Thanks!

Ben
