Re-occuing meeting every 3rd friday of the month which lasts a week

how can i create an outlook invite where the meeting reoccurs for the week (mon - fri) where the Friday is the 3rd Friday of the month?

I think you can do that from Appointment recurrence. when you create a new invite you will have the option for recurrence in the ribbon menu.
from there you can choose the range of recurrence and pattern. and when does it end.

From there you can choose everything which applies to your case.

ya, I'm not sure how to configure it when I know the date on which the meeting ends (i.e. the 3rd Fri of the months) but not the start date as the 3rd Monday of the month might come after the 3rd Friday of the month!

In this case, it's not gonna work for January because January starts in Tuesday which is 1/1/2013 right after monday and ends in Thursday 31/1/2013.

You will not be able to do this coz the third Monday of the month actually meets 21/1/2013 and third Friday of the month is actually 18/1/2013 ..

You can try and do this in (March) which third monday meets 18/3/2013 and third friday meets 22/3/2013.

I have uploaded 3 snapshots for you to show you how it won't work in January and it would work in March.
