iPHONE 5 IOS 6.02 Apple Dial Assist
I have noticed that the dial assist feature that is common on the BlackBerry is nowhere to be found on the iPhone 5. This feature dials numbers from your contacts as required depending on where you are in the world. So if you have a Toronto Canada number 416-555-5555 and then travel to Germany it will add the appropriate digits for you when calling a number back home or somewhere else.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Who is your provider? I know this is working with AT&T but not really with other providers: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2977
I found some more info about this: http://www.primeinspiration.com/gadgets/featured/2002-how-to-use-calling-options-on-iphone-5.html

My provider is Rogers Canada. However when travelling outside of the country this is a handy feature to have.

clonyxlro, I checked out the link and if the phone is LTE I wonder if this will not work unless we are only on GSM?
Automatically add the prefix or country code for calls to the U.S.: (GSM) Go to Settings > Phone, then turn on Dial Assist. This lets you use contacts and favorites to make calls while abroad.

I'm on Bell, but because I put the country code when I add a new phone number, I'm don't really use this feature, but that's good to know.
