IP KVMs

Possible office move on cards.

So, looking at:

New 2m high c46u rack - HP good (as mainly HP kit)?
For KVM - aten IP KVM any good and compatible with HP?  How to the IP kvms work exactly, benefits??
What rack screen/keyboard would you recommend?

Looking at reducing the amount of cables...

Thanks

HP's are good and guaranteed to work with HP servers, there's a dongle that connects to the KVM ports on the server and converts the signals to CAT5 cable (not Ethernet) so there's only one cable going around the management arm. This goes into the IP consple switch with all the others and you plug the screen into it or use IP GUI screen. Avocent make them for HP and they're not cheap, see http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13474_div/13474_div.html for more info. Note you can use the non-IP flavour as expansion.
