My SKY Sagemcom ADSL modem hasd died (only the power LED comes on) and the replacement is not die for 3-5 working dyas, so I am looking at an internet-free Weekend (yeah, chance to get outside and forget 'bout it .....erm....say what now?!) <br />

So, I was wondering if there is a way to set up a different ADSL router. I have a Netgear and a Linksys lying around. I have heard it can be done, but Sky support wouldn't give me the details, they just said - &quot;we don't hold these details but you could probably Google it&quot;....Okay, did that to no avail, so here I am. Please help!!!!<br />

Set up Sky ADSL broadband with a different modem-router

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet.
