asked on

copying excel worksheets from one file to another

I use ms office excel 2007 and I would like to be able to combine some of my existing worksheets into a single worksheet (Lets call it "A". How do I copy a worksheet from one file onto a page in the worksheet "A" keeping all formatting including height and width, formats, formulas and fonts. I don't want to have to recreate the worksheets.

I spent some time doing this and to copy a worksheet from one file to "A" you go to the original sheet and rightclick on the sheet name at the bottom of the worksheet and select "Move or Copy" then right click "Create a copy" box otherwise the result will move the file instead of copying it. From the "To Book" choose the file you want to copy it too. In my case it would be "A". and hit "OK" and you are done.
