Need to use gmail to send docs directly from word 2007
I use gmail and find it irreplaceable.
However I prepare I word 2007 docuement and try to email it it uses outlook (as set in the internet options win xp).
I can choose hot mail from internet options but I really need gmail to send the document.
I tried gAttach and other suggestions but they dont work. aAttach was the most promising.
Notifier just opens links so it doesn't cut it.
Any ideas?

Without editing the Registry with some hacks you can't. The Send To->MaiL Recipient requires a MAPI client which Google mail is not. You could however configure Outlook Express, Windows Mail or Outlook as a Gmail Client via POP3/IMAP and use that to send from Word via GMail.

I am willing to modify the registry. Where can I find the details?
