External wifi receiver for IT

I like to get external USB wireless so IT guys on call share it and don't have to be tight to the home or office.   Can anyone recommend one or any other advice or practices implemented?
Thanks.

Most (not all) of those devices are made to a specific operating system (so I have a bunch of old PCMCIA and USB wireless devices collecting dust).

I use the Nokia CS-18. It works a treat on my Windows 7 Thinkpad and I have tested it and it works in Windows 8 as well. It should work in XP but I have not tested that (XP is dead). It works in Vista (I have done that).

The CS-18 does 3G in most places but is works in a 4G zone as well.

The CS-18 has an included SIM so it can easily be shared and one party picks up the bill.

@Tiras25 - Thank you and I was happy to help. My Nokia CS-18 is *always* in my bag with my computer.  ... Thinkpads_User
