Laptop synaptics driver uses default settings after reboot

Hi,

After changing settings on the Synaptics luxpad v7.5 (no tap setting) the device works as normal.

Once rebooted it reverts to default settings, until you go into the cntrl panel and access the 'change mouse settings'  no changes are required, then the driver loads in the tray at the bottom right of the screen and the mouse pad works as required.

Looking for a solution to make settings apply automatically from boot

Thanks

Have you installed the latest driver for the touchpad?  If not, try that.
