Outlook client questions

I just finished configuring a new Exchange 2010  on my organization and I have some questions.

This is my setup:

2 Mailbox Servers using DAG (MBOX 1 MBOX 2)
1 Transport Hub and Client Access Server (MHUB)
1 Remote Transport Hub server (RHUB)

It's configured so if MHUB goes down, external mail enters via RHUB and viceversa.

But when MHUB fails, I loose all outlook client connections and can't access the mailbox.

Does the outlook client need client access to enter the mailbox servers? and if so,

How can I configure RHUB to take as CAS when MHUB fails?

Yes not just Outlook.  Anything that connects to the mailboxes goes through the CAS server first.
