Change the Generic Printer icon on the Printer server using HP UPD to a specific icon graphic of the printer for clients

Ho can I change the existing generic printer icon from a Windows 2008 print server while using an HP UPD print driver so the Windows 7 clients see a graphic of the actual printer connected and not a generic printer icon. Using the specific driver for the printer will generate a custom icon but not when using the UPD.

The only way possibly is to customize / make your own .ico
but that comes with problems with others accessing your server they wont see the changed icons.
These images are not really images / rather icons in the format of .ico and are visible because of a special theme.dll in every windows. The name is aero in windows7

In order to see customised icos either put the new ico into a theme or use a theme tool such windows Blinds Start Dock icon packager,  which adds support to opening .ico icons and assigning them to particular hardware as printers and drives, anything really outside of windows defaults.
Otherwise you could stick this shortcut to this UPD printer in a folder and customize the actual folder instead.
