synology ds2115 not coming back up after reboot

We have the synology ds2115 and it is not coming back up after we reboot our  xp
we have it installed on
any help?


 we have retrospect 8.1 as out backup software not that it matter

Have you tried power-cycling the NAS? What does the Synology utility show when you run it? Have you checked your LAN connection? Did you set the NAS to use static IP or does it get it's IP from a DHCP server?

its a static ip address the device assigns

was checking them out. We found power setting on the card and within there software
