Google Chrome installed on terminal server

During a java update, google chrome was Accidently installed on our terminal server. We have uninstalled it, however, this caused links in outlook to not work anymore. I have been having users run a script that sets IE back to the default browser and fixes the issue, however the issue keeps returning every few weeks. Is there a known fix to this issue?

Check to make sure all remnants of chrome have been removed, such as the google updater, and check your scheduled tasks as there is often a task that runs frequently to check/update chrome.
