We have a single SBS2011 server running exchange. Every few weeks we seem to lose our e-mail reception.
A restart does not resolve this consistently, but when we restart the transport service from within task manager, it resolves the problem straight away.
We cannot restart the transport service from the services console, as it reports that it has not responded in a timely fashion. The restart from within Task Manager is the only thing that kills it.
Does anyone have any suggestions what we can do to prevent this from happening, as we dont always notice straight away that our e-mail has stopped working.
We have AVG E-mail server edition running.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
