Phone numbers on webpages as links to dial via Cisco IP Communicator

Is there a way to turn phone numbers in webpages (specifically in Chrome) into direct dial links for Cisco IP Communicator?

This would be such a huge help to me, but I can't seem to find anything on it when searching the web.

Looks like you'll need the Cisco Web Dialer, which requires the feature enabled on Cisco Unified Communications Manager.  Depending on your requirements, you may need to create a Chrome specific extension to interface with it (via the SOAP- or HTML-based application programming interface (API)), similar to this one for FireFox.
