Outlook voting and tracking

Outlook has a great feature: tracking responses to polls and meeting requests and maybe something else that needs tracking.
Now my problem is that I've sent a poll and somebody just walked to me to give the answer. Apparently outlook does not track those answers automatically, but can I tell outlook somehow that I did get an answer from that person so that next time I look at the tracking information I have everything in one place. Or keeping a separate excel spreadsheet the only way to track answers?

You cannot manullay edit tracking info on vote as you can on meeting request, either ask user to respond to the message or maintain spreadsheet.
