SugarCRM Inbound Email Configuration

Hello,

I am using SugarCRM Community edition on Internal VM. SugarCRM has IMAP & POP3 module to receive email. Our organization doesn't support IMAP & POP3.

Exchange team asked me to build the code to receive emails via MAPI/SMTP.

I am worried this would lead to lot of custom coding.. slowing down updates or even make application unstable.

What is the best way to handle this situation? Is there any easy workaround?

You're right. This is not doable in SugarCRM, and trying to code it yourself will be a major undertaking.

Microsoft Exchange Server supports IMAP, you just have to turn it on. I would push for that.
