out of office assistant & OAB not working

I cannot use Out of office assistant, cannot download Offline address book, test email configuration fails, cannot delete/move emails while in webmail

Getting the following error on my exchange 2010 servers:

I have 2 exchange 2010 servers in the cluster. both running hub/cas/mbx roles

when i do a test email configuration on in outlook to check autodiscover it comes up with this error:  Autoconfiguration was unable to determine settings!

when i run the get-webservices command in exchange command shell

internalNLBurl : https://servername.domain.local...
internalurl: https://mail.domain.com/...
externalurl: https://mail.domain.com/...


ews in iis authentication is set to windows authentication is enabled, anonymous authentication is enabled. the rest are disabled

i have checked the bindings on the default website.:

http    80
https 443

http  127.0.0.1      80
https  127.0.0.1     443

other bindings are
net.tcp
net.pipe
net.msmq

Are you testing from external network or from internal netowrk ? Internal client shuold use SCP to connect to autodiscover , which is an object on active directory...

From external, it will use DNS A record or SRV record ... for external check autodicovery on https://testexchangeconnectivity.com and post the result (errors).

   Additional Details
  An HTTP 401 Unauthorized response was received from the remote Unknown server. This is usually the result of an incorrect username or password. If you are attempting to log onto an Office 365 service, ensure you are using your full User Principal Name (UPN).

Hello,

It would appear you have a certificate issue. Are you using a SAN certificate and is autodiscover.domain.com listed as an alternate name on your certificate?

Ok. Fixed the issue.
I ended up uninstalling the most recent updates that were applied to the servers.
