Hello Experts,

I have a question for an Enterpise Exchange Admin/Engineer with iPhone intergration experience.

Can iPhone show "Display Names" from Exchange GAL when composing email?

Reason for my question.  In an enterprise with many users it is not uncommon for users to have similar last names. When I compose an email I often need to search.  As we all know display Names in Exchange show more detail.

Example: LastName, FirstName [[New York - Sales Dept.]]

Seeing the [[New York -Sales, etc]] is very important to me.

I do not want to start a debate on this thread on opinions on iPhone for business as it is not right forum for that, but I will briefly add that Blackberry users can perform a look up that displays a list of users by display name. Has Mircosoft/Apple/ActiveSync/3rd Party solved this common issue. The concern is that users may email wrong people often.

Thank you for any solution you can offer.

There is no solution for this as annoying as it is.  I have the same issue.  I also dont like that If i actually have someone in my contacts, that their email address or whatever name their email provider allows them to put...shows up when they send a new mail...not the name I have them stored under.

Its a waiting game...
