SBS 2008, console Wizards Freezing - Need to renew self-issued SSL.

Hi all, I've got an issue with SBS 2008 server which is testing my diagnostic ability some what.  I've done a bit of research my end, coming across suggested issues such as lacking a FQDN in SMTP recieve connector but no joy.

I require to renew a self-issued SSL using the fix my network wizard, however that wizard and others, with as the configure internet wizard are freezing and not completing, here is an extract from the Fix My Network log.

Hopefully someone can point me the right direction, many thanks.

How is your NIC on this server setup. Do you have IP v6 enabled. If you could show us a screen shot of the IP v4 of both the default view and the advice DNS view. See screen shot I post as a sample.

May be a silly question but have you restarted the server?

Console problems aren't uncommon and I've found most are resolved with a reboot.

No question is a silly question imho.  Restarts done, along with updates, although I will certainly try again.

Why si you default gateway the same IP address as your SBS? I would think that would cause problems.

Sorry, typo I meant 192.168.1.1, I was a rush to reply.

All the settings as far as I am awere not done manually and done through using SBS wizards.

Do you have an errors in the event log?

David AtkinTechnical DirectorCommented:
Does this happen with just the fix my network wizard or does it happen with the rest of them as well?

Robert_TurnerAuthor Commented:
This server was recently migrated to SBS 2011 as part of long term strategy, fortunately the problem was not migrated.  Thanks for all the attempted help on this one all the same, frustrating not to be able to resolve it.

Self resolved through replacement of faulty solution.
