hello,

we have an old 2003 server, which is our domain controller.
we have installed a brand new 2012 server and is going to be the new domain controller.

we have problem to include the 2012 into the 2003 domain controller. so we can not migrate users easily.

is there a cookbook with tools adhoc in order to migrate the users and the files (with the permissions) from a 2003 server to a 2012 server.

thank you in advance for kind of receipee.

I would still add the new computer as a DC and then demote the 2003 one.
