unable to get fla to publish to swf

We have a flash player and i would like to add a facebook icon and twitter icon to it. we used to have flash developers but now we don't so i have been asked to get this to work so i have downloaded the swf decompiled it and opened it in flash and have imported the icons.

I thought i could then just republish the swf but it is giving me an error

1084: Syntax error: expecting identifier before rightparen.

Now, my skills are very limited when it comes to flash so i have uploaded all the nescessary files to http://www.hobartsinranelagh.com/audio/audioplayer.zip

Help would be greatly appreciated

Line 291 of your main.as file looks like this:

public function switchPlaylistItem (param1:String, param2:int = ) : void

You need to remove the "=" sign or assign it a value. Either way will work, but you can't just leave the = sign hanging out there like that.

After further investigation, that is just the beginning of your problems. You have hundreds of errors in you program. Sorry, but I don't have the time to fix them all. You may have to pay someone to do it. It will take quite a while.

Generally decompiling and then recompiling does not work without some effort. It is not usually a clean conversion. You really need to source .fla file to do this right. Otherwise, you will spend a lot of time and effort basically re-writing it.

where is the best place to get someone to pay to do this? (and cheapest!)

Sorry, I can't help with that. There are a lot of developers out there. You can probably find one here on EE.
